Reminds me of when in ...This practice is so wrong.

Reminds me of when in crisis housing and the next level up group home housing in Schenectady they took all our food stamps along with any money DSS or SS was giving them. Wonder if they still take all the FS?

I cheated and kept my FS at the group home so when I got an apartment I had something to start up with. It really helped.

Since on straight SSD one also gets Medicare then. The first $1000+ is the deductible. How is the person going to afford to pay this back.

The other thing who is going to pay the rent on their apartment while they are in the hospital? Who is going to keep up the utilities? Not everyone there stays for months and years although it sure sounds like the state likes to keep us.

So with this plan one loses their housing what a great way to offer support for a person who is in need of it. There is more to recovery then hospitalization and secured housing is critical. This needs to be protected at all cost.

Roy if that is you writing in this blog thank you for the heads up.
CelesteAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1074764555793624690.post-31142203554999487672009-02-25T20:09:00.000-05:002009-02-25T20:09:00.000-05:00Roy, a lot of people are asking how is the stimulu...Roy, a lot of people are asking how is the stimulus package going to effect their Social security.
